The Tempo Hotel project in Louisville marks the third location of Hilton’s newest upscale brand, following New York City and Nashville. This five-story hotel spans 70,210 square feet and features 130 rooms, including unique amenities such as the Moonsong Bar & Café on the first floor and a spacious fitness room on the second floor. The hotel also features 1,876 square feet of flexible meeting space, designed to accommodate a variety of events and gatherings.
The project’s electrical scope was comprehensive, encompassing the installation of a 277/480V/3-phase switchgear system with 120/208V/3-phase distribution, as well as a large exterior emergency generator located beneath the adjacent parking garage. All lighting throughout the hotel is LED, with custom and decorative fixtures in public and lobby areas to enhance the guest experience. Other electrical features include backlit hotel signage, USB-charger-integrated receptacles, fire alarm systems, three elevators, and sophisticated emergency communication systems. The electrical systems also extend to the Moonsong Bar & Café, providing connections for all equipment and mechanical systems, as well as a lightning protection system for the entire building. Above the hotel, the High Stakes Grille & Bar offers a luxurious rooftop dining experience with 10,370 square feet of indoor and outdoor seating.
