The Brown-Forman Forester Center 2nd Floor Renovation project involved transforming a historic 12-story whiskey warehouse into modern office space. Our firm was tasked with providing MEP design services for this extensive $16M rehabilitation endeavor.
The renovation focused on the 2nd floor, which was reconfigured to accommodate private offices, open office areas, conference rooms, and an office kitchen. Mechanical improvements included rearranging existing variable air volume (VAV) systems and installing new ductwork and air devices to optimize airflow and ventilation throughout the space. Notably, the 2nd floor featured a raised access floor design, allowing for convenient access to power and data infrastructure.
On the electrical front, the renovation encompassed upgrading the power and data systems to support the modern office environment. This involved integrating state-of-the-art LED lighting fixtures, ensuring energy efficiency and illumination tailored to the various work areas.
