The project consists of multiple additions to the existing Silver Creek High School and an addition to the existing Silver Creek Primary School. The High School additions include a field house, a music wing, and an auditorium.
The MEP scope of the project included replacing the entire domestic water system, adding fire protection to the facility, and installing a more efficient water-source heat pump system serving the new additions. All new HVAC systems were designed for the building’s unique spaces and improve functionality for students and staff.
The electrical scope included replacing all existing lights with LED fixtures and digital lighting controls, and upgrading the service to support new functions, existing panelboards, and a new auditorium. The data network was redesigned with new devices to serve the addition and renovated areas, and low-voltage systems—fire alarm, intercom and paging, intrusion detection, video surveillance, and access control—were designed. Audio/Visual systems were provided for the new classroom and auditorium.
