The Jacobson Park Sprayground was designed as a modern, inclusive recreational amenity that builds on the park’s legacy as a beloved community destination. The 3,000-square-foot public sprayground features a central interactive element and a variety of spray features designed to create engaging experiences for users of all ages. Supporting infrastructure includes a new restroom and support building that houses all sprayground mechanical systems, along with new walkways, site amenities, expanded parking, and integrated landscape design to enhance accessibility and circulation throughout the area.
Mechanical and electrical systems were carefully coordinated to support reliable operation, safety, and long-term durability. The sprayground utilizes dedicated pumping, filtration, and water treatment systems housed within the support building to ensure consistent water quality and efficient operation. Electrical systems were designed to support spray features, controls, and site lighting, thereby enhancing functionality and the user experience. Site lighting and infrastructure were integrated to complement the park environment while improving visibility and safety, resulting in a thoughtfully engineered recreational space that serves the community while minimizing operational demands.
