CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION

We stay invested through every phase.

We view Construction Administration as a critical phase for protecting design integrity, supporting contractors, and ensuring systems perform as intended. Our proactive, hands-on approach helps resolve field issues quickly, verify proper installation, and guide the project toward successful turnover.

Proactive Field Support

  • Attend regular site visits to observe MEP system installation
  • Identify potential issues early to minimize costly rework
  • Support contractors with timely clarifications and direction
  • Ensure design intent is carried through in the field

Clear and Responsive Communication

  • Respond to RFIs, submittals, and change requests with urgency
  • Maintain open communication with the owner, contractor, and architect
  • Provide documentation that is clear, consistent, and solution-oriented
  • Act as a collaborative problem-solver, not just a reviewer

Coordination + Quality Assurance

  • Review submittals to confirm compliance with design and performance goals
  • Monitor installation for conformance to specifications and drawings
  • Verify that equipment placement and system routing are coordinated
  • Support resolution of conflicts through thoughtful field modifications

Final Testing + Closeout Support

  • Participate in system start-up, testing, and balancing
  • Support the Commissioning Agent during functional testing
  • Provide punch list support and review as-built documentation
  • Ensure proper operation and turnover of MEP systems

Owner Advocacy + Operational Readiness

  • Represent the owner’s interests throughout construction
  • Help prepare building staff for occupancy and long-term maintenance
  • Confirm that systems are installed to perform efficiently and sustainably
  • Provide continuity from design through construction and post-occupancy
